More than 300 dogs, from rescues to purebreds, first-timers to old-timers, compete in the fourth annual Bayou Bunny Run in Bush, Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024. The three-day American Kennel Club event, sponsored by the Boxer Club of Louisiana and Black Knights Coursing, featured timed 100-yard dashes and a 600-yard agility course. A companion event, Santy Paws’ Reindog Games, will be held Dec. 6 to 8 in Bush in the 23000 block of Chat Blanc Road. It will feature six AKC coursing ability tests, and are sponsored by the Boxer Club of Louisiana, Deep South All Breed Obedience Training Club, and Black Knights Coursing.
