Have you ever wanted to know how many points your dog earned during their Fast CAT run, but you are not a Mathmetician with a photographic memory? We’ve got you covered. Just follow the easy steps below to get your dog’s total points for their run!
If you are Math minded, we also have the manual calculation process shown below.

FAST CAT POINTS CALCULATOR

1) Enter your dog’s test time to see their Miles Per Hour
2) Select your dog’s handicap to see their total points.

Enter the time your dog received from the Event Timer, ex. 8.25

You can also use this formula to manually calculate MPH:

204.545 divided by run time (seconds) = MPH
204.545 / 8.25 = 24.79 MPH
MPH x Handicap = Points

  • 18″ and over = 1 handicap
  • 12″ – under 18″ = 1.5 handicap
  • Under 12″ = 2 handicap

24.79 mph x 1 handicap = 24.79 points
24.79 mph x 1.5 handicap = 37.19 points
24.79 mph x 2 handicap = 49.58 points

Titles Award Schedule
BCAT = 150 points
DCAT = 500 points
FCAT = 1,000 points, multiple = every additional 500 points
(FCAT2 = 1,500 points, FCAT3 = 2,000 points, etc.)
